Synopsis

"Dalia" is a gripping story of family, loyalty, and the consequences of our choices. Dalia, in a moment of desperation, takes money from a customer's car which sets off a chain of events leading to a dangerous situation. The stolen money belonged to a criminal named Shane, who will stop at nothing to get his money back. In a desperate attempt to retrieve what is owed to him, Shane abducts Coco and gives Dalia a deadline of twenty-four hours to return the money or suffer repercussions that includes killing her beloved sister.

The visual style of “Dalia” is characterized by low-saturated images and a bleach bypass look, which creates a sense of tension and unease. The cinematography is creative, using mainly wide lenses to capture the low-class environment in which the sisters live. This visual style adds to the sense of urgency and helps to convey the stakes of the situation. With its intense, high-stakes story and its focus on the relationship between two sisters, "Dalia" is a film that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats. Whether you're a fan of thrillers or just love a good family story, "Dalia" is a film that should not be missed.
